Below you will find our answers to the most asked questions (faq) by owners of websites or visitors.

1. What is WebsiteJudge?
   WebsiteJudge is a portal/ review site where everybody can submit, visit and review websites. Every website that meets our Terms & Conditions can be submitted free of charge. Every submitted and crawled website gets a link to the website with the url as an anchortext.
2. My website is indexed in WebsiteJudge. What's the use?
   WebsiteJudge is a growing website index with a gaining authority. A submission in WebsiteJudge, which is free of charge, can improve the visibility in the search engines since you will be placed in a highly relevant category.
3. I received a profile verification-email but it is empty. What's wrong?
   This is probably caused by your email options. Your email may not support HTML. Most people will be able to get the information by opening the email message as "plain text".
4. I did not receive a profile verification-email. Can I submit another request?
   You probably received the email in a spam/junk section of your emailclient or the email may be blocked by your ISP. If this is not the case you can submit a new request by logging into your profile. Go to your profilepage and request it again. NOTE: this request can only be done if you have not yet verified your account.
5. I want to identify myself as an owner but I do not have an emailaccount on the domain.Is it possible to verify?
   No, out of security reasons this is not possible. To prevent abuse of a domainname on WebsiteJudge you need to have access to a email address related to a domain name. For example: info@domain.com if you are owner of http://www.domain.com
6. My website recently got updated. How can I update the data in WebsiteJudge?
   Simply go to the reviewpage of the website and press the "not ok" button. Choose option "The image and/or information about this site is outdated " to update the information/image.
7. The tags mentioned do not represent the contents of my website. Can WebsiteJudge change them for me?
   WebsiteJudge is not able to change individual websites. The tags are related to the keyword-tag in your website. If these keywords are changed then it is possible to update your information in WebsiteJudge. Simply press the "not ok" button and choose the option "The image and/or information about this site is outdated" The information, including tags, will be updated as soon as possible.
8. I never gave permission for indexation in WebsiteJudge. How did it get indexed?
   A big part of our index have been crawled and categorized automatically. Some websites have been added by visitors and webmasters/webdesigners or the moderators of WebsiteJudge. If you do not want your website indexed in WebsiteJudge you can always contact us. Please Note: Once a website is deleted out of our index a re-submission is only possible if a owner of a website contacts us directly.
9. How and where can I submit my website?
   You can submit a website by going to the most relevant category and subcategory. There you can submit a website. The website will directly be visible in our index. NOTE: every submitted website will be moderated. WebsiteJudge keeps the right to change or delete submitted websites if the website does not meet our Terms & Conditions.
10. How can I find back my website in WebsiteJudge?
    Use the "Search URL" option found at the topleft of WebsiteJudge and fill in the URL of the domain.
11. How do I change owner information?
    "Log in" on your WebsiteJudge profile. After logging in go to your profile. If you have verified yourself as owner of (a) website(s) you will able to change the owner information. NOTE: You can only change the ownertext. Title, Tags and robotview information are gathered automaticly by our crawler and can not be edited manually.
12. How can I delete my (owner)profile.
    Only the administrators of WebsiteJudge are able to delete profiles. To get your profile deleted, simply fill in the form below while LOGGED IN. In the "Your Question" section simply tell us that you want to delete your (owner)profile. Note: deletion requests will not be followed up if you are NOT logged in!
13. How do I review websites?
    You can review websites when you are logged in. If you do not have a profile yet then you can easily create one. After being logged in, search the website in our index by typing in the exact url (ie: domain.com). Review the website by giving points and by giving additional comments.
14. How do I create a profile?
    You can create a profile by doing the following:
    - Click on the "profile-tab" and provide us with an emailaddress and nickname.
    - After a check you can fill in your personal password (2x). Also fill in the text characters. This is a check to prevent automatic requests.
    - Activate your profile in the email we are sending you. You can only get a new password if your profile is activated.
